I've joined the dark side...
So as you can see, I've done the unthinkable and created a blog! It was suggested by a certain family member that instead of sending mass emails updating people about my semester abroad in Vienna, I blog instead (good idea, Sandy). As many of you know, I'm awful at keeping in touch with people via email, so hopefully I'll do better at this... even though I despise blogs.
I leave in a couple weeks, and already I'm having nightmares about packing. You'd think it would be nightmares about going to a country for 3 months where you don't speak the language, but no, apparently I'm really worried about how many pairs of shoes I'm going to be able to fit in my suitcase. Oh well.
More updates soon, so hasta luego! (Oh crap, that's Spanish, not German... I think this will be an interesting semester, to say the least.)

I hope you had a safe flight and a wonderful orientation trip! I am still here, and missing you. Today I went to the eye doctors - they admitted to giving me the wrong contacts. Idiots. At least I don't have weirdly shaped eyes. Anyway, I just wanted to say hi, and I miss you, and I hope you are safe and having tons of fun riding the zug!

Anna, if it had been me, I'd have only packed one pair. Then you'd have to go out and get some cool new ones! Bonus: you could wear them on trips home, and if someone admired them, you could casually say "Oh, these? I picked them up in Vienna."
